Kurt is in his 24th year in real estate. He is a New Mexico native and a third-generation
New Mexico real estate broker. Real estate is more than a career choice for Kurt; it is in his blood. His grandfather homesteaded
in Santa Fe County and sold real estate until he was well into his 90s. His mother just celebrated her 54th year in real estate.
Kurt loves real estate and architecture and enjoys working with people from all over the world.
Kurt was raised
in Santa Fe and attended the Santa Fe Preparatory School with one year at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire. After high
school, he worked for an architect and studied architecture at Arizona State University. He later changed his major to business
and finance. For a couple of years, he managed an aerial and architectural photography business. Then, in 1985, Kurt turned
to real estate in the Santa Fe area. Now a seasoned professional, he is experienced in home and land sales, commercial sales
and leasing, and the sale of gentleman ranches. He has great enthusiasm for showing the finest real estate Santa Fe has to
offer.
Kurt married his true love Christina in 1996 on the Delaware River at Washington's Crossing near New
Hope, Pennsylvania. Christina is a native of Philadelphia and is now a practicing clinical social worker in Santa Fe. Kurt
and Christina adopted a beautiful baby girl, Sadie, in July 2002. and after the best adoption in the world they had a
baby boy in late March 2004 named Drew. Their pug Wrinkle and yellow Lab Yardley round out their family.
On
Kurt's days off, he might be found skiing in Santa Fe or nearby Taos (cell phone in pocket). In warmer weather, he likes
to go fly-fishing in local streams. Kurt's travels have taken him to Europe, Asia, Central America, and many parts of
the United States. Still, even after seeing so much of the world, Kurt would not want to live anywhere else but Santa Fe.
